yep, that's a top score all right, hmmm, well okay, congrats I guess. I myself wouldn't be able to tell the difference between a 7.9 and 7.5 in daily use.

Just ask to see hardware specs to determine if the system can produce such a high score. If your processor, memory and graphics card are crap your not going to have a high score. Simple

well the hardware specs are in the picture. cpu, ram, all you would need to know that it's bogus

It would take 2 to 4 SSD's running in RAID to get a HDD score that high. http://www.overclock.net/hard-drives-storage/788759-how-get-7-9-windows-experience.html   so in theory a score that high is possible.

I am not saying its Bogus DC. My statement was a general statement not directed at you. That being said your graphics card has a lot to do with the rating and not just cpu and ram. For example I have a good gaming score but my aero score is not as good.

No. The ram and cpu are important but so are your graphics. What do you have for a graphics card?

Erm, sorry Wiz, but that's wrong. Most modern SSD's will get a 7.9 score. I have a Crucial C300 128GB on a Sata II port and that gets a 7.7 by itself. Admittedly, the guy was using 64GB SSD's, but the screenshots are from 2009, so that was old tech. A 64GB Crucial M4 on a Sata III port should have no problems getting a 7.9

Thanks for bringing me up to date, Starcandy.  The link was the first I found so I went with it.  Next time, I'll research a bit further.

I can only wish I had an SSD but I'm happy with the performance I get from my rig so I can't justify the cost.
