did you refresh yet ? nvm my bad the picture didnt load up completely but the score is very good but 7.9 is max what will be displayed ^^

yep, that's a top score all right, hmmm, well okay, congrats I guess. I myself wouldn't be able to tell the difference between a 7.9 and 7.5 in daily use. :-"

Just ask to see hardware specs to determine if the system can produce such a high score. If your processor, memory and graphics card are crap your not going to have a high score. Simple

well the hardware specs are in the picture. cpu, ram, all you would need to know that it's bogus

I am not saying its Bogus DC. My statement was a general statement not directed at you. That being said your graphics card has a lot to do with the rating and not just cpu and ram. For example I have a good gaming score but my aero score is not as good.

No. The ram and cpu are important but so are your graphics. What do you have for a graphics card?

ok

here you go

Nvidia GeForce GT 220 1GB ram

just to some it up an i3 wouldn't get an 7.9

or ram of 6GB  these two just from the picture would tell you (anyone) that knows about it would know it's bogus

Oh and NO it's NOT Photoshopped!!

That'll be because it's PaintShop Pro'd  ....;p

A crap i3 and 6gig in a junk mainstream computer is gonna be lucky to see half of 7.9

I'm really not sure what the idea of the thread was/is ....;p

It would take 2 to 4 SSD's running in RAID to get a HDD score that high.

Erm, sorry Wiz, but that's wrong. Most modern SSD's will get a 7.9 score. I have a Crucial C300 128GB on a Sata II port and that gets a 7.7 by itself. Admittedly, the guy was using 64GB SSD's, but the screenshots are from 2009, so that was old tech. A 64GB Crucial M4 on a Sata III port should have no problems getting a 7.9

Thanks for bringing me up to date, Starcandy.  The link was the first I found so I went with it.  Next time, I'll research a bit further. ;)

I can only wish I had an SSD but I'm happy with the performance I get from my rig so I can't justify the cost.
