It would be great if all of Gas Powered Games (and Stardocks!) could benefit from Steam's community.

I dont see why not. IMO :

If they could somehow replace the p2p networking in demigod into a server based pvp game, and release it for free it might pick up a bigger crowd.

Stardock actually published the game.

 

Publisher has distribution rights.

Well now, Sins Trinity and Galactic Civ are on Steam. Hope Demigod and Elemental are next.

- Re-bought Sins and Galatic for Steam just for support.
