Stocks perhaps?

It's too bad you guys took the animation away off of improvements.  I can just imagine Brad putting his favorite forum trolls from various boards in the guillotine.

But....WHO'S gonna be under all the bridges then??? o_O

Can't have Hortz under every single one....

I like that the Kingdoms are losing their fairy tale good guy images.

Guys, think about what you are saying. Hanging people is a complete waste. We should sacrifice them for mana!!

Edit: gramatics

Tis merely looks like a simple childhood game of Hangman. Must be a morale booster of some sort.

Enter audio at 36. Love it.

I swear that the devs have been reading my mind. So far FE is including tons of the things I have been thinking would be cool.

My hopes for this game are growing dangerously high...

OKaaaay...I think.  Going after the 9 year olds now, are we?

Must be going at the 31 year olds too, because I like it.

The technology should be called a 'Rope-based initiative'.

Produces-

-3 unrest

+20% gildar from rope-makers.

I´m 34 and found this entertaining. I don´t know why and i don´t care. :P

I grew up in the 1950's when the gallows was for real. Corporal punishment was also the norm (usually for sex offenders).  A 7' mechanical strap was set in the centre of a prison room. The prisoner would be tied to a post at one end of the room and one of two guards would pull a lever at the other end of the room ... WHACK! No more than one or two were administered at a time since more could cripple or kill the prisoner. Some prisoners were sentenced to as many as 40 of these. From a historical perspective, this wasn't that long ago.

Gallows aside, I think this is the first confirmation we've had of pedestrians' return to the tiles. Given that WoM removed them, I'm pleasantly surprised they're returning for FE. The little guys brought my created tiles to life.

Keep up the good work, Stardock

Uhhh...the game is rated Teen with blood and Fantasy Violence. At least E:WOM is anyway.

So, I can't see how they could be targeting 9 year olds.

On another note, love the cabbage farm. Looks pretty cool. :)

Actually, I hope they return the animations to the towns.  It would be nice if it was an option, (un)enabled by a switch when loading the game for a session.

Man I wish lynching was still socially acceptable. It is the ultimate form of justice by the people.

Alright...now this thread is getting a bit creepy.

In theory I agree, but in practice it was often a tool of prejudice rather than justice, at least in the South. It did tend to work okay in the West as far as I'm aware.

Ya, those damn racists ruining lynching for the rest of us. Same with fried chicken.  :hrmph:

Definitely a wrong turn somewhere.  I appreciate humor as much as the next guy and this is a fantasy game, but some comments here are just a bit much.  If this is the route that Stardock is taking the game, I will just have to look elsewhere for my games.  This is just too juvenile.
