Cocktail of Discontent

I followed Bill Phillips’ Body For Life fitness program for years.  Recently though, I got bored with going to the gym and lifting “heavy” three times a week.  I understand muscle mass is important, that we start losing it around 30 if we don’t do something to stop it….but I’m tired of lifting heavy…

One of the anti-estrogen/cancer fighting drugs I take causes severe joint pain, and lifting heavy isn’t really helping in that area either.

Stir in pain with boredom and it produces a cocktail of discontent.

I don’t want to stop being fit, so I began to look at alternatives…

Wow did I find a good one!

Right here on the internet.

Not only is this woman fit, beautiful, and so sweet she gives me a toothache, but most of these workouts I can do at home (WOO HOO!).

I am fairly fit, but after about 6 minutes of a bodyrockers full body workout, I’m whipped!!

I find navigating her videos on youtube easier than her site (because there are so many), but if you are looking for a new fitness routine…(her 4 minute workout kicks butt!!)..check her out…male or female, I think you’ll be hard pressed to keep up.

I have found that an active lifestyle (just doing stuff around the house and such) has increased my muscle mass since i was a lazy teenager! ;)

Not me.  I can work all day everyday and still not be fit.  I think my hypothyroid keeps me from benefiting from regular activity like most folks.

It's fun KFC...I did the 15 minute "torture" one today...whew...I'll be feeling that tomorrow!

Right now I'm adding these to my present fitness schedule.  I don't want to stop something I know works until I see how the results from this will be....

Nuh-uh...Not Big Fat Daddy....remember "Beware the Ponytail"?  I learned my lesson and have no intention at this point in my life to try to keep up with a little girl in a ponytail and leg warmers.  Thanks any (she is kinda fun to watch).

Thanks any (she is kinda fun to watch).

I just love to hear her talk....hahaha....she's so dang cute!  Especially when she talks about food.  But you can tell a man, HER man films the sessions.....the camera angels are all about the eye candy.....but if ya got it sister, strut it!

I can vouch for the effectiveness of her workouts.  I haven't been this sore in....well, ever!

But I love it!!  I'm having fun!
