Just how big are the Titans?

Just how big are the Titans?

Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion is the most significant change in the Sins universe since the original release. Not only are there twice as many factions to choose from but the already impressive scale of warfare gets a big boost with the introduction of the Titan class ships which absolutely dwarf the existing capital ships (see in screenshot a favorite TEC battle cruiser class capital ship).

Not surprising, the Sins of a Solar Empire engine (the Iron Engine) required a significant upgrade to deliver these spectacular enhancements in scale.

If you don’t have Sins of a Solar Empire: Trinity already --  get it now.  It’ll be the only way to get into the beta for Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion which is due out this Fall.

Titans are obviously a mixed bag in the current version.

The TEC loyalist Titan (the Athena Class pictured above in the header) is nigh indestructible, as its abilities focus on survivability.  Further, it can drastically reduce damage to other ships in your fleet as it levels up.  None of the other Titans are nearly as dangerous, as they can't preserve your entire fleet.  I smell a need for a tweak, or everyone will be TEC loyalists.

Worth noting is that the Vasari Titans kind of suck, but that's probably why you can't play them yet.  If you know your way around Sins, you'll notice that the ships are actually in the Rebellion Beta, but you have to do some programming tweaks to access them.  They are on par with the Advent Titans, but again, the TEC loyalist Titan is far and away the best of the bunch.

if it were to be made it would be probably the size of earth (if you compared it to the first capital planets in the game) and so their for we would not have the required materials to make it (unless we had more then one planet) and the design would have to be made so that the ships gravity dose not make it collapse on itself AND ontop of that...

WHO THE HELL HAS THE TIME TO MAKE THAT

Your theory is flawed :P

Even if it is the size of earth we can assume that 90 % of it is hollow therefore it would have only 1/10 mass of earth and gravity.

Furthermore gravity would cancel itself as we can assume that most of mass would be on outside to protect from space and space debris. so only thing we would need is to have material strong enough to support its outer hull...

... true i forgot about that part... but do you think that the squadrons come from the shield like sides? due to the fact that it is a highly supportive and defensive ship with less firepower then the other titan class ships? so are those sides then mostly solid save for the squadron bays?
