No lan??

Why no offline lan??? i got this game just so i could lan it with my brothers like a do with sins of a solar empire and was surprised by all that crap with the multiplayer. I dont even have the net at my house so i kinda got screwed. I guess i just wont trust stardock not to release none internet activation games ( i know its better then alot of company's but it still sucks compared to the model they used for sins of solar empire). and yes it is internet activation like steam due to playing multiplayer you have to be logged on to impulse  once as far as i can tell.  :(

This game isn't really build for multiplayer. It's more of a side quest.

If you just got it and learned that, contact [email protected] and you might be able to get a partial refund on it. Because yeah, the MP support in this game is a disgrace and really makes the entire company look bad. It's a far, FAR cry from Sins on that front.

I looked at the one post that was locked, the one about getting refunds does not  look like i would have much of a chance at a refund. but meh ill just wait for a patch for multiplayer i guess. lol tho i think ill be waiting a few months the newest patch 1.3 dint even have one thing about  fixing multiplayer...

I find it sad and ironic that they tried to make a spiritual successor to MoM and then didnt even fix the one problem with that game (lack of multiplayer support)
