The Q have given the Borg the technical ability to open  inter-dimensional tunnels. This has made the Borg aware of other realities, full of species to assimilate. In the Star Wars Universe alone there are millions of races, billions of individuals all ready for the Borg to "add the biological and technological distinctiveness of other species to [their] own". They realise the magnitude, an Eternity in the  pursuit of perfection.

New alliances have been formed from previous foes. The proverb "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" rings true. War on a inter galactic scale breaks out with myraid possibilities and outcomes, where new foes are discovered and doppleganger fights doppleganger. And the Q Continuum look on with interest, no one knowing there true intentions. Is it perhaps another test for humanity?

@myfisto, have you been able to get X3 ships ported into Sins? That what your proposing looks very interesting. Why don't we just form a team, you the master, me the padawan. The modding galaxy could be ours for the taking!

No sorry I don't have any of those programmes. You know I have x3 reunion twice( different versions) & x3 Terran conflict twice as well. It's a pity I couldn't send you one of them. If you want to try a compatible ship, this website has them in the . Xsp format: blackpanthergroup. It's a German site I think, with loads of ships. I've downloaded most of them! Sorry it's not a direct link, I'm on my IPhone.

OMG you have a Vulcan Ship!!!!! I am really surprised that the Star Trek Mod doesn't have a mini mod where its from the Enterprise Series, and you have the Enterprise, alond with all the Vulcan ships and Andorians!

Really would love to play any of the Vulcan ships, they are my fave :)

I have a 7th Race in now. Been testing all day with no problems or mini dumps. Loaded bailknights mod and the total effects mod with it. My question is at the player set up I can still only choose 6 player pictures. What do I have to do so I can see all 7 races?

No go. Hard coded at 3 and I just made a work around to show 6.

I am working on showing 10 using medium pics but that will be a long ways away.

I'm not at liberty to discuss this 7th race at this moment in time. I will say one thing, they have Titans and Dreadnoughts.

I want to create another picture texture sheet and call it "Unit Picture2" and add it to the textures file. What brush file do I add it to, so the game will pick it up and read it. I can't seem to find it. I know it's not the players.pictures in the window folder, because I've tried that. Thanks Theo.

You don't need to add texture files to brush.manifest or any other manifest. In order to change hud icons and the like you need to make (or edit) one of the brushes files under Window like Picture-Planet.brushes for example. Then you edit the ship entity HUDIcon (forget exact spelling) line so it calls the icon, like PICTURE_FRIGATE_SHIP.

I've ran out of space on the Unit_Picture sheet in the textures file.

Ive created another and called it Unit_Picture2.

Ive opened the Picture-ship.brushes file in the Window folder.

I want the Tech Colony ship to have the new picture icon from my new Unit_Picture2 sheet.

Ive just copied the existing one which is 2048 x1024.

Ive placed my new ship image in the same place as the Tech Colony one.(2 , 470, 167 , 75 )

It really baffles me?

Add in the file-extension, i.e. fileName "Unit_Picture2.tga" and it should work.
