i cant host either, i heard there was going to be some downtime but i tough it was between august 1st and 2nd.

Really?  hmm... I didn't have to update my config any.  Also, I don't think you can get a nat problem if you are playing over lan... methinks he's trying to host over the internet still.

I got an warning, that I'm behind a symmetric NAT router but there was also button for help, where you can read what you must do. Haven't tried it yet because the russian guys didn't know me and when one of them left, I left so they can play 2 v 2. But I guess it should work.

If I don't forward - NAT restriction

if I do forward - no problem

It isn't a "real" LAN. It is making a fake one and I would assume it therefore has to use an internet protocol. I am willing to concede this point if someone knows better but this is how I understand it until now.

-hi.. i had the NAT problem too...i turn off all firewalls----->it works.

-but when i play a game it crashed evey time after 1-5 min

-sometimes are the name of players italic and they cant join my game?!

does this actually mean when will never EVER be able to play demi on impulse?????

cuz now its alrdy the 7th and still cant host........... BUT i can try to find players in the pantheon!

but that is not going to work though, cuz the most people ( i think) have chosen the forses of darkness.......

so that wont be fun 8(|

The servers were getting moved late last week and some issues arose that can't be resolved until sometime after the weekend. CVP-based hosting will be available again once things are all back up and running in a few days.

I'm surprised no body is fired for this.  Definitely not a way to run a company.  And if you do have problems, you REVERT.  I guess we're no longer paying customers which means down servers are not a high priority.  But now I would have to think twice about purchasing another stardock online game.
