Game nights?

Anyone interested in trying to schedule set days and times for games?  I'd be interesting in set days and times for pro matches and set days and times for just fun games (take whoever shows up that indicates some interest here).  I still get fun games and fun pro games from time to time, but I think maybe setting a few times a week where we agree to wait for certain folks would be fun.  More often than not lately, I find myself choosing not to wait for a gg and just going with whatever I can get started in the shortest order.  It certainly beats waiting a long time.  But that said, I'd love to see if we could set a few times weekly and see if folks would show up for it. 

Anyone else interested?  Just say so here.  I'd love to schedule a 3v3 pro game at 7PM est on 8/1/2011 if there is enough interest.   I figure the fun games could be favor mod or anything really.  Most games I don't care what the teams are. 

Anyway, I'd be willing to check this thread on a semi daily basis and see who is free for whatever the set time is and WAIT on them to show up.  This means that as long as folks show up, we could start having gg's regularly.

But if enough other people show up, it's no problem if I do not play.

 

But a real problem is UTC-5 and UTC+1. So you want to set the more ambitious game(s) to 19:00 (UTC-5) and other maybe later?

Well, I could show up at 19:00 (UTC-5) and just see, what the situation is. Maybe the easiest thing.

Well - I'm not sure if this post was a success or not, but I think I'll keep doing it and setting specific times.  I did get some fun games in with mcshane and dark (just mentioning the folks that posted here).  Got my butt handed to me over and over tonight, but was a good time. 

OK - so next time will be tomorrow at 7PM EST.  So, same time again if anyone is free.  Remember, just indicate that you want to play here and check in and I'll be happy to save a spot for you.  Thanks for chiming in with your post, mcbane, so I could jump in with you folks.

Well, I thought for some reason 7 PM EST is my morning, and did not double-check :S  Silly me... Was 3 hours late.

I can tell you the most likely scenario, though: me and Pacov would end up on the same team, and...  :X  (Nah, hope that tendency is broken, after all!)

Anyone is welcome for the fun games.  We'll do our best to balance and if there is a big mismatch, we can balance by teams and dg selection.  As long as folks have fun, then good stuff.

I will host a game using account cheesuscrust tonight at 7PM EST.  Anyone that wants a spot is welcome, but I'll only hold you a spot if you indicate here that you want to play tonight and that you show up pretty close to 7PM.  Thanks!
