Restoring the game? EDIT: Didn't help.

Alright, after noticing a bug with the AI being able to give missions without doing the research, (thus letting them demand credits from me with me unable to do the same) I decided to run the dev version.  Lo and behold, I get assert after assert.  Is there a way to install clean files over the old ones without just un-and re-installing it.  That's a hefty download.

In Impulse: Shift+right click, verify install.

Shift-right click it in Impulse and choose the verify option.

Well, I tried it and it didn't help.  Is there a way for me to get e debug log for someone to look at?
