But as for any on the left "Pining" for any on the right, I only have to refer you to Carly Fiorina.  The loss of moderate republicans is not solely due to conservative republicans, but due mainly to the fact the democrats cannot run a positive campaign.  They slandered her to the max (along with Meg Whitman).  And beware of snake oil salesmen.  They tell you want you want, and make sure it is lethal.  They got McCain in 08 (and promptly savaged him).
