Problem with loggin onto stardock and activating MyColors

Hello to all,

 

I am experiencing a problem. I have registered to stardock, and have entered both of my names, email address and password in atempt to log in to stardock control center, however i am receiving a "Login Failed" message. The reason I downloaded stardock control center was because I need an activation key for MyColors, which i do not have.

The problem and the question I have, is why is stardock saying my account is invalid to log in and how do I get an activation key for MyColors if not from stardock control center.

It's been quite awhile since I've messed with MyColors, but as I remember there is no activation key for the program itself, the program is free and they used to charge for the themes (other than a few free ones).  If you are trying to install a purchased theme, you would install MyColors and then install the theme (I don't remember if they came as .exe files or zips or whatever) and then enter the key for that theme within MyColors (seems like they used to register on their own, maybe not).

Maybe if you could be more specific about which theme you're trying to install?
