The prestige break down page for a city doesn't match their summary page.

In the above save I have 13 cities all display 0 prestige on the main screen, 0.1 prestige on the city summary page, and net prestige production between 1.1 and 5 on the city prestige breakdown pages.

The cities are growing at the rate of 0.1 pop a turn.

The two of the opponent cities I can see also have prestige of 0.1 the the last one 0.2.

If this is the how prestige is now supposed to work the large maps are looking pointless, as you build cities to grab the spread out resources your population growth grinds to a halt.

the main screen seems to round to the nearest integer, so anything less than .4 will appear as 0. it still grows though. I'm pretty sure it has always been this way for the sake of brevity and simplicity.

I've got no answer for the other oddities.

It's an attempt to limit city spam (have lots of low level cities, or a few high level). But yes, on a large map that can be problematic because you MUST have a lot of cities.

Of course, one then needs to ask, why do you need a high level city anyway? just make more smaller cities (10 cities at .1 has the same global pop growth of one city with a prestige of 1, though i am assuming that prestige never falls to absolute 0).

Additionally, this make the charisma stat relevant again. What effect do NPC, sovereign or offspring have on your problem? And the "fertility" spell is suddenly a bit more valuable. And inns, pubs, theaters, and the (if you can reach level 5) the great arena.

Not really that I can see.

In a different game I have a been leveling up charisma and have the following city (11 total cities)

Buildings: hub(1), Beacon of hope(1), inn(1) + Fertility (1) =4 prestige with royalty (+10%) = 4.4 prestige

5 Heroes charisma scores 10,8,25,22,12 = 5.8 prestige

No multi-city penalty shown ?

Net prestige production 10.2

The City's prestige is 0.1

It is season 184 I have two starting capitals mine with 195 population and an AIs with 112 population

I have posted to the same effect.

I've been having a similar experience, posted about it in the general forum.  This is pretty game breaking - can't even get my cities to level 5.

Anyone going to respond to this from stardock?  I I think I heard and echo when I just said that.  :(

I added 30 prestige to every prestige building and it seemed to make things work well. Try that. You can have 6 cities before you need to worry about the new equation. At 15 cities inns give 4 prestige and that doubles for every new prestige building.
