It didnt get any better after transformers 2 though the action squences did. It was an ok watch to pass the time but still worthwhile watching transformers the aniamation movie 1986 which was much better.

Optimus prime had the killing intent more than ever before in this movie. Each decepticon he took down wasn't because he had no choice but to but because he wanted to exterminate them. I have never seen Optimus like this. He was always the wise leader with a philosophical understanding of things around him. What i witnessed in the movie was the dark side of the primes.
