File and Font Manager For Free

The Nexus File manager and The Nexus Font manager are free for the taking and are both powerful managers which are simple to use. They should not be confused with the Nexus Extreme software from Winstep.

The file manager has a nice appearance, and has a multipane (good for moving files), tabbed, FTP (so you don’t need to open another app), advanced renaming, archiver, folder tree,

shortcuts, thumbnail views for images, and multi-lingual support. It’s portable and it even has skins!

It’s tiny, and very worth your while to have. I haven’t even named all it’s features.

Here are a few views of it:

Nexus Font Manager:

Another powerful, tiny and free tool. Not to be confused with the free font viewer which comes with Winstep Extreme.

I actually think this is the best I’ve ever seen!

“It has an extensive range of font and file attributes that can be viewed and sorted by. Unlike most of the other programs, NexusFont mainly works from the main window instead of having many different windows or panes. While NexusFont is running I can access all the fonts including those that are not installed. NexusFont allows me to work with fonts in folders anywhere. There are two ways to organise fonts: groups of folders and sets of fonts. For example: with a "Blurry" set I can collect all blurred fonts;  with a "Monotype Corp." group I could pull together all fonts from that publisher. All the font files remain in their original folders and can be included in many sets and groups.” – Gizmo’s Freeware

Here’re some views of it:

Then, there’s Nexus Image… and even iPhone apps (NexusSubway and NexusMoney) and a web app (NexusToDo)….

Noh JungHoon is the owner and dev. Sincere congrats on some really good software!

I've been using the font manager for quite awhile, couldn't do without it, it's gret!

I can't help but be the oddball here and wonder why anyone worries about managing fonts. But I guess this might be a stupid question on a desktop customization website. The file manager does look interesting. will advise how it works.

It may look nice but I use Directory Opus, the best paid for File Manager on the market. I did try the Nexus one as suggested for some reason it quit running

That rather much depends on who you ask....

I've been using another dual-pane file manager for well over a decade, and nothing will ever change that. (Unless I die)

I like freebies. :)

Just an FYI, Norton blocked the download site as a known bad site. Not worth the risk to me to try it out.

Probably a false positive.

BitDefender didn't, nor the "sniffer" Pale Moon has when Googling the site.

I had no problem with the site. No red flags or anything like that.

Dr. JBHL....

I was going to go to the site but Norton Antivirus said there were 4 threats of Trojan Horses and that it is a malicious site and not to go to that site.  X(

That's a Norton false positive, TCCM. The site's just fine.

You used Transcend. How do you drop a skin in the folder? I'm assuming you made it first, right. Don't mind me I'm just being stooopid.lol

Doesn't really have anything to do with Transcend In the program folder for "nexus file" there is a folder call "skin" in that folder there are 3 skin folders right click on any of the 3 copy and paste as an example In my case I copied the black skin so then I had a folder called "Black copy" then just edit the images in that folder. ;)
