Simple serial problem

Hello, came on the forums cause I just bought a copy of Elemental and when I started it I was prompted to install a patch. This took me to the Impulse Client and for some reason it doesn't accept the serial on the back on my manual. Is there something simple I am missing here ?

If the key is not accepted exactly as it is printed (any 0/1 you see are zeros and ones, not O I or L), please contact [email protected] about the issue.

Double checked using the info you provided however it still didn't work so I have sent an e-mail to the address listed. thank you.

Two days since I emailed that address and still no reply, other than the automated one saying not to send multiple replies or it will increase response time..

So I decided to try again for the heck of it since I got no reply.

I launched the game and went to update, which launches impulse, which wants you to register the game first, blah blah blah.

 

Looks like I found the problem - Impulse bug/bad design.

If you select the product type(Games) and title(Elemental: War of Magic) in the drop down boxes before entering the serial key, it just won't work.

If you enter the serial key first though, it auto fills these drop down boxes. Then ONLY if you don't touch them and click okay it works!
