Problems with Linksys

Unable to Multiplayer unless connected directly to modem

Okay, been having some problems with this for a while, tried everything I could think of and finally given up and asking for some help.  I know I'm forgetting something, or there is something simple I can't find and can't get the right information.  Every time I try connecting through my router I get this error:

Multiplayer is currently unavailable.

Server return following message:

<SCRIPT language = JavaScript>

var job = location.host +location.

pathname; var job = job place

(/ / g, '+'); window.location = 'http:websearch.linksys.com/? eg = '+ '41

I know it has something to do with my router, but I can't figure it out.  I've unblocked all ports through it, disabled all security, firewall, protocol blocking, pretty much had an open network.  And nothing changes

If I plug directly into my modem I'm able to connect with no problems.

Network wise, I'm hardwired

Router is the WRT110

Firmware 1.0.07

Anything to help out would be greatful.  I would like to be able to game an not have to redo my network each time I want to do a multiplayer.

Sounds as if the DNS might be acting up on the router for some reason, though generally it'd be redirecting to an ISP (or whoever it's set to use DNS from) search page in such cases.

You might try setting your router to use OpenDNS, or just your machines if you use static IPs.

Tried that, still no go.  Getting the same error from above.  I've even tried using wireless and still the same problem.  And as before when I connect directly to the modem, no problems.  Anything else someone could suggest?
