Coming up quickly, but then not quick enough…

While my fiancé is able to compute the hours without the use of computing aids, I make use of a Countdown Clock widget that I recently downloaded to show me how much longer there is before our big day.  Still a few months away, but not much more than that now.  So close, yet so far.

We’ve still got a ton of things to do between now and then.  I’ve got a lot more clean-up to get done so that she can move into the house and move her stuff in with her.  I’ve also got to completely clear out the room where her daughter will move into, and I’ve got to work with my dad to put new drywall up there so that her daughter can paint the room easily and make it hers.

She’s got a lot more cleaning to do at her home, tossing out things she doesn’t want to move.

Eventually she’ll have her old mobile home pulled from the lot it’s on or demolished on the lot.  Either way, it’ll eventually be gone, once she’s moved in with myself and my daughter.

My daughter will be having to work on cleaning up the bathroom she has currently been calling her own.  That should be interesting too.  She had been enjoying having things to herself, perhaps a bit too much.  She’ll soon be sharing the bathroom with my fiancé’s daughter, and with guests that may come and visit the home.

The plans for the ceremony are getting more settled.  We’ve been discussing the order of events, what songs we might want to have played during the ceremony and things like that.  The invitation lists have been whittled down as well.  We’re still going to be cramped for the reception, but I think it’ll all work out and more importantly she thinks so too.

I’ll stop here for now.  Hopefully I’ll get a chance to come back and update again soon.  ‘til then, best wishes everyone.

Your titled told it all!  But it was still fun reading the rest of the story,

I wrote a countdown clock for my first marriage - 33 years ago!  It was purely digital as computers did not do graphics very well back then.  But if your fiance' can do it in her head - wow!  Another reason to keep that one!
