Game is paid for but shows still in checkout ...

I just purchased a game through the Stardock store. The impulse browser froze right after I checked out through paypal. I've received a receipt from paypal for the purchase but the game doesn't show in my impulse list. If i check my cart it still shows the game but will only let me buy it again. What can I do to get this going?

Try restarting Impulse.  If that doesn't work, try closing Impulse, and running the following file:

http://sd.stardock.com/curthendzell/fix_registrations.reg

Make sure to follow the link in Internet Explorer, as other web browsers will not handle the file type correctly.  Once you follow the link, save the file and double click it to apply it.  Then relaunch Impulse.  You will need to re-login with your username/e-mail (either will work) and password.

Thanks, it said the registry update was successful but my cart status is unchanged and the game still isn't in the "My Games" list.

Out of curiosity, is your PayPal email the same as your Impulse login email?

Also, which game did you purchase?

OK, it looks like the order did NOT go through (wasn't sure what game it was for initially).  As to why, I'm not sure, but try using a different browser and see if that helps.

My paypal shows the status as completed with no refunds since.

OK, I did some digging, and the payment was processed, but the order didn't complete.  I had it manually pushed through, so it's on your account properly, and you should be getting an email about it (if you didn't already).  I've never actually seen this happen in my 2 years of support, but apparently it happens from time to time.

Sorry about the trouble, but you should be good to go now.
