Doc, I know you do not like Obama (who does?) but do you actually think he understands much about well ... anything going on. Kind of a stretch to blame the idiot reading from the teleprompter don’t you think. My goodness what are we going to do... :(O

If he was you or I, you would be correct.  However, it is HIS conscious actions (and lies) that are causing this problem.  So yes, I do not care if he is non-compos mentis or just the latest incarnation of Nathan Bedford Forrest.  It is his fault.

I saw that.  The problem is since he showed no weapon, and only asked for $1, it is a misdemeanor and he will probably not be in long enough to get the help he wants.

Besides, there are less radical ways to get it as the US does have Medicaid.  It is as good as (probably better than) Jail medicine - and less dangerous (you do not get shanked in your sleep).

In Canada we have a load of junkies that go to jail to detox and get their teeth fixed at the same time. I think it is a small price if a junkie can manage to turn their life around.

In his full interview he stated he would just do it again but maybe this time have a lawyer recommend what not to do. I doubt he will go to max security and get shanked, probably start some cult following in prison.

Agreed!  Having been robbed by one, I want to see them detoxed before they come out at the very least.  I will not trust them again, but they had better get dry or be another "homeless" as they have destroyed all relationships they had before.

He probably will not even get to prison, just serve his time in a jail.  While not a country club, the violence there is a lot less than in prisons.
