Looking for people to play online with

Have played for years with someone ele's copy of just standard Sins.

I may not be the best player and I've dabbled around in SoSE and it's expansions for some time.

I just finally purchased the full version of SoSE Trinity so I can play online and enjoy the game to it's fullest. Game's updated, I have the game fully updated, and I can play any of the three expansions. Just hit me up in this thread. I'd like to start messing around some today.

Your best bet is probably the Diplomacy expansion.  There's not much going on for Vanilla and Entrenchment other than a few comp stomps.  You can find 4v4 and 5v5 games on the Diplo server every day, but note that you'll get stomped for your first 50 games as you learn how to play against real people.  The beating you'll take to your e-penis ego is worth the investment because it's an awesome game once you get up to speed and you'll be ready when the Rebellion expansion comes out.

Christ. I try playing multi-player for three days on ICO. Turns out I've figured out why it never really lifted off and about 80 people max play it at any given time.

This community there is some of the biggest e-peen stroking elitist jackasses I've ever seen in a gaming community. New players are trashed like hell and given tons of flack and the preexisting community often prefers skilled games which you can't even join unless you're good. The games themselves don't last long and it all devolves into rushing faster than any RTS I've ever played and people get pissed at you for being new and not knowing all the terms or what you're doing. The rest of the time is spent waiting for a game or sitting in collapsing lobbies because people keep leaving. Everyone's impatient and nobody can just enjoy the game for what it is on there. The learning curve is really retarded because of it.

The call of duty online servers have better communities than this and the games are shitty and filled with high pitched eight year olds.

In short. I can't believe I payed 20 dollars for this. It's ridiculous.

Killed by the community.

Sins isn't the only game to suffer from that kind of problem once the player counts get low.  It's a vicious circle really.  The player counts are low so it's hard for newer player to find appropriate opponents, so they give up and the player counts remain low.  Hopefully Rebellion will serve as a Sins-2 bringing hundreds of new people online, breaking the circle.

My ICO account name is Cephal btw.

Don't know if I am doing it right but when I try adding players i get message "Players name already taken", DUH! :wc:

My ICO account name is: AdolfBinStalin

Feel free to add me if you can and maybe we can get some games going. I am fairly new to Sins so expect to win.

p.s. is ICO dead these days? I am always showing 0 players; 0 games. I tried disabling my mods and using vanilla trinity 1.21 but still nothing???
