Would the pre-order extend shipping to the UK? I'd like to get my hands on the actual CD/DVD.
We've not yet determined if we'll be doing a retail boxed release for Rebellion, so for the time being *all* Rebellion preorders will be download only, regardless where you're at.
If we do decide to do a retail box though, it would be available for shipping worldwide just as the download is.
Are you guys planning to promote Rebellion with advertising as you would a new game since it will be stand-alone? From a promotional standpoint it seems like there would be a benefit to having retail boxed versions at Best Buy, Target, and Wallymart. I hope that you guys are planning to market it to new audiences that have never heard of Sins before.
well considering that best buy target and walmart in my area are already carrying boxed versions of sins, putting rebellion there would not necessarily introduce "sins" to new audiences. In fact, when i got my game, i got it in a boxed version at target 2.5 years ago. I don't think this emphasizes the importance of introducing it to new audiences, but definitely boxed versions increase the availability of the game immensely.
Kryo, would it be safe to say that if I preorder for download only I would be able to switch to a hard copy if they ever come out?
We usually offer such an option for our retail releases, but I can't say with certainty that such will always be the case.
