Historically, I've done most of my work on weekends or on time off.  Regular business hours is when I do management, budgeting, meetings. It's in my off hours that I actually get to code and do "stuff".

And I tell ya, nothing sucks the desire to work faster than a visit to the forums where hyper-entitled man-children bitch endlessly about their $10 to $50 purchase.
