Creating custom avatars for WC Members

from WinCustomize Forums

OK,

   So here is what I would like to do. I want to offer to create some really cool custom avatars for anyone wanting one done. You all know I have a lot of projects going on so I wont promise any time frames on them other than Inspiration and timme hit together lol . Anyway If you would like one let me know WC site doesn't really work well with .gif files so they will be in png format.

My avatar is...SHAAAWEEEEET!!! Ha ha ha. Thanks Harley.

I'm trying to upload mt avatar and it keeps telling me the file is too large. It checks out at 100x100, the allowed size but it won't let me do it. Boogers.

Not trying to take fun away from theAVman...  Which by the way, his offer is a most generous and appreciated one.

I have found a website which is easy enough for the average knucklehead (me), that allows you to create some really fantastic stuff like this with just a few clicks.

It's really worth checking out... while you wait for theAVman to do his magic for ya!

It is not the 100 x 100 size they are talking about when rejecting Uvah, it is the fact that the avatar cannot be over 40kb in size, and the one Harley made for you is 79.61kb.  You will probably have to open it in a graphics editor and save it with settings that reduce it to below 40kb.

I saved it in XNview as a .jpg. Took it down to 8kb. Managed to upload but don't see it yet. Oops...there it is.

Send me your email in a PM Uvah, I will send you the avatar that will work as a transparent PNG of the right kb size, which should get rid of that white background that shows up on alternate posts.  I am sure Harley is busy.  :)

i like my Avatar, but the idea to make avatars for people are pretty nice. I think you will have to do a lot of avatars for members. You are a good person, mate!

Uvah and Sargan here are 2 that have a trans background and fit in the size requirements!
