Doc, just don't do paypal.

why isn't this set up through SD?
End of gmc2's quote

(My bold print)

gmc2 - It's not being done through SD because this is, I believe, a private enterprise of Jeff's.

Still can't figure out the Paypal thing.

figured what the heck, I'll deal with paypal and order through them. but, when I went back to the site the only version available is the free beta version. So, I have downloaded the program and I hope it is stable enough for use?

Yes it is, gmc2. I've been using it for a couple of months. no problems, but it does use RAM

it's nice but not something I really need. I only have six resident programs in my taskbar, they don't take up much space, everything else I take off of the start menu. tis' a great price though.

I see no way to turn it off, other than Task Manager....

You can do it also by right clicking on ther icon in the systray and by double clicking on the systray icon and choosing 'disable' although that does not "turn it off".

Yes, it has to be turned off in system config. We need a way to turn it off.

wouldn't you have to unbin everything.

Doesn't use up a lot of ram here. Mine uses 27,208 and its working fine. Even OD is behaving itself.

Edited to cover up my dumb                       ^^^^^^

I like it, but I like DX for a shortcut launcher.

I'm single minded...lol.

RedneckDude- you can turn it off by holding control+shift while right-clicking the tray icon (Exit Bins option at bottom). I don't have it as a more primary thing due to the large number of "it broke my taskbar" reports I was getting with early on testing, people wondering why their binned shortcuts weren't showing up on their taskbar after exiting :-S I now have it that it offers to re-pin those shortcuts on uninstall, but, right.

Is there a reason you're looking to just temporarily disable the program? Causing a conflict with some other software or some other reason? Thanks...

ha and good catch on the spelling mistake. what the heck, google chrome spellcheck :)

I prefer DesktopX for launching my programs (suprise!) lol, Bins is good, and a steal at .99. No conflicts.

I had it turned off and it isn't showing in my startup list, yet it starts on reboot. I need it to not do that.

Any thoughts about the RAM thing, Jeff? (Reply #30).

Uninstalled....

I'll wait for a less buggy version.

Downloaded, installed and I am immediately in love with Bins! I have used Object Dock 1 and 2 as well as Fences. OD* looks pretty, but I found it more intrusive than usable. Fences was just plain annoying. Bins, however, is just what I have been looking for without knowing it.

I agree. I like OD too but every time the screen changes after every game the dock shifts to the sides or it kinda gets stuck in the middle of the desktop only showing the tabs. Once I click the tacbs it goes back to the edge but it's annoying to have to move it around often. I actually like Nexus better because I can lock it into position though i wouldn't mind the tabs.

I will give this Bins a try but I too could not find where to buy it.
