Maybe a good way to fix the empire tree

A year ago, I requested for diplomancy a way to set certain ships to attack specific targets, aka trade ships, and now after thinking about it, how about setting the empire tree to show ships and structures seperately by command?  This will help keep the tree lean without having to wade through all 500 ships and structures that jumps up and down when ships enter or explode.

I'd love a voice controlled empire tree.

lol Now you're just gettin lazy Sin, clicking with a mouse getting too hard? ;p But that would be hell on the cpu lol

Anyway I agree with the optional settings for the show/hide craft/structure idea. But there is also a small issue with it.

To select a specific group of ships to attack a specific  structure or group of structures you would need to toggle the settings. Most likely it would also require the startup of a second "empire tree page" or some sort of tab on top of the empire tree, then  it's going to be like running two empire trees causing double mem-usage of any and all things that pop up on that oh so obnoxious lag box. Though it has it's uses and the game would be a bit"what, where? something happened?" if we didn't have it.

In any case, it's not a bad idea, but it would put a bit more mem-usage on a game already holding a small limit for it(as far as these days go). If it caused no change in performance I'd be on it like Jared on ho-ho in a relapse. But, till Jared gets doughy and rolls I don't think it would be very possible ;.; *crying* I could really go for Subway right now
