Particle Forge 3 Problem

Particle Forge is in the root directory and loads up but then gives an error message followed by pop-up saying, "An old version of Entrenchment has been detected.  Please uninstall entrenchment and reinstall".

What to do?  I've gotten this repeatably but the program is loaded with an open window when all this happens.

Which forge version????

Mine works fine, but I put the forge into its own folder and dropped the d3dfx.dll or whatever it is called, and the Particle, textures, and textureanimations folders into that directory with it. Try that and see if that fixes the problem...

Ok--got it working--leftover file floating around in it that didn't belong there.  Thanks.

Now--if only I knew how to work its powers.
