I NEED HELP! I CANT PLAY ONLINE!

i have had sins of a solar emire since it first came out, i am still running on the ORIGIONAL version of sins of a solar empire.

even back when i first got the game it will not allow me to create an ironclad online profile, i enter the CORRECT CD key, and it still says "DISCONECCTED FROM IRONCLAD ONLINE" It has been doing this since the day i got it. I cant play online, what is the problem??

i dont want to buy the expansion packs because i cant even get it to work onbline. so what do i do?

most likely, it is because your game is not updated. what version are you playing? 1.191 is the most recent vanilla version iirc.

Yes, you cannot connect to Ironclad Online (ICO) unless you have the most updated version of the game. This is part of the DRM. To patch to the latest version you need to download and install Impulse and register your game with it.
