I NEED HELP! I CANT PLAY ONLINE!

i have had sins of a solar emire since it first came out, i am still running on the ORIGIONAL version of sins of a solar empire.

even back when i first got the game it will not allow me to create an ironclad online profile, i enter the CORRECT CD key, and it still says  "DISCONECCTED FROM IRONCLAD ONLINE"  It has been doing this since the day i got it.  I cant play online, what is the problem??

i dont want to buy the expansion packs because i cant even get it to work onbline. so what do i do?

Make sure your firewall isn't blocking it, that's the problem I usually have when I try to play online with a new computer until I remember to check. Sure enough, my firewall was asking whether I want to allow the program to access the internet once I minimized the window. XD
