Multiplayer mesh issues

Just reinstall it and it works, incredibly annoying, but as a last resort it helps.  Developers please fix this.

I agree, it's an eyesore.  For some reason they added extra meshes that most players don't have to one of the Trinity packages; I think it happens to people who buy retail copies at bricks-and-mortar stores.  I don't understand why it can't be fixed by patching, but I'm not a computer programmer.  There is a thread about this, btw.  It isn't always necessary to reinstall from Impulse, and I don't think it's hard to fix (for future reference for your friends):

Yes I read the thread about this topic.  In the end a reinstall is the only option for the problem I was having.

In my experience with trinity out of box (i bought one for my girlfriend) There was one mesh that was causing all the difficulty.  I did a mesh count and compared all the meshes with hers, since I wanted to know the exact issue.

Turns out trinity was shipped with this extra mesh file in the entrenchement mesh folder, the very first mesh in the file being the culprit.  I forget its exact name, but its it was something like capital_battleshipTECH.mesh

Basicly, the 'files different from host' error developes if say, one places files within the program files.  If you have an extra file, sins fails the checksum, and multiplayer wont work.

(or if you have a mod running)
