I am sure there are lots of WB skinners that would love to tackle this JC, but you probably not need to pay for it. There are lots of current skins that if you recolor them would match you SMX perfectly.  I just recolored my current WIP and it matches your SMX perfectly too.  If you can wait until it is done that is.

Thanks Tom. I have recolored some blinds but just was not all that happy with it. I also do not mind paying. If someone wants to do it for free that is a bonus but I have been blessed with a good job so do not mind sharing some love. I am looking forward to your blind too.

What I had in mind for the blind would be a light colored taskbar that matched the gauge rims with a dark start menu and that purple font. Just not sure about how that would look though.

I'd be willing to give it a try (for free -- being "hired" puts too much pressure on me).  I'm in the middle of a blind right now, but will probably be able to get to this in a couple weeks if you're willing to wait that long.

Tom you were right. Majik recolored does go quite nicely with the skin or maybe I should say my skin goes nicely with Navs majik blind.

What are you calling the smx, so I can name the blind the same thing?  Also, do you think you could send me a sample of your graphics so I can match them? 

I am calling the smx skin iStat Tuned but that might not be a good name for the blind. Feel free to come up with your own name and I can always change the name of my skin. I was not all that happy with the name to begin with but it was the first thing I thought of so I went with it. Just pm me with your email address and I will send you the graphics, such as they are.

BTW, although I use Winstep for my meters and etc, I like the look of the SMX a lot, and I'm sure Karen will come up with a top notch blind to go with it.

Thanks stalkers. I am also doing a blue version that looks quite nice.

I have a second system without Winstep that I could use for SMX and all the great skins that have come out for it recently... I just need to take the time to set it up since moving last September.  Yeah, it has been sitting idle for almost 7 months, but I haven't needed it so never really worried about it.  However, I do have some other PC jobs to do so while I'm in there I might just fish it out of the bits n' pieces cupboard and hook it up.

I do not know if we need another community project based on this but that's not for me to decided. All I have done was make a sysmetrix skin. I would be thrilled though if others got on board and made some of the things you mentioned.

As far as a name is concerned I am kind of leaving that in Karens hands seeing how she was kind enough to do the blind. It will be up to her if she wants suggestions. I will simply changed the name of my skins later. As I have mentioned I am not stuck on the name I am using for the skins I made.

By the way I have uploaded a blue version and should be available tomorrow.
