Didn't know if there are any Tron or Daft Punk fans out there but the Tron Legacy soundtrack has some great potential mod music.  Just a thought--here's a sample:

Yeah--listen through it.  Just "epic". Some are more suited for the game than others but these are short songs--usually under three minutes each and a few of them are just incredible.

I'm kicking myself after watching the dvd for the first time last night for not having gone to see this in IMAX 3D with Dolby surround  when it came out.  Here's another good one:

This is a short one and the one that follows it, Disc Wars, is really good too.

lol It was a fun movie yes. I made sure to watch it in the theaters though I didn't get to go to the IMAX version.

I was really impressed by the scfi story in the film.  I know it was too short to develop it properly but they really dropped some heavy plot lines very subtly into the movie. I think they did a better job of laying out the structure of a virtual reality and true AI than the Matrix did.

I figured it was "Disney" and "sequel" so I didn't go.  Duh--who knew?

I did. Disney actually has a decent track record with sequels. Not the best but not the worst either. And yes there are some interesting things that they could expand upon. Who knows? Tron 3?

I know many epic music producers and their music that could fit better in SOASE.

SOASE music is mediocre with some excpetions.Still,the music works even if it is not in ogg format.Tht is a plus.EVerybody can put whatever they want.

 

FOr me Two steps from hell,immediate music,some more war themes,movie themes and so on make SOASE a very good experience.Wish that some music was more varried,Some parts like,battle,quiet overshadow and other themes overshadow parts like upbeat or so.

Yep--there are a couple of songs on the DVD (maybe three) that I think are SOASE compatible.  I wouldn't make a "Tron sound mod" out of it though.

Now I can make tunes with Garage Band on my iPad and make a custom sound track! :) (not gonna do it)

I did just notice for the first time that my newer LED monitor from LG is a "FLATRON" and uses the Tron fonts where it's branded on the frame.  Pretty funny.
