Why is the Diplomacy owner preorder online-only? I like games that come in physical boxes compared to an Impulse library game. I like wallowing in my large collection of CDs and game cases, just kidding. However, I prefer to have a physical copy of the game, so would there be a way to receive the $10 discount and get a CD in the mail?
hello sisn of solar team its ferry greadt u still making new exspensions ur in my opiniun 1 of the top greators of games if u still exspending on a game i hope the new exspension includts evryting from the past. and its greadt if u pre order its the monny will take oof ur bank when the game is out thats realy realy greadt. only i wandt alwys a dvd retail not sure if i pre order if u sendt me a retail enny way i am realy happy to see u peeps still exspending much game comunetys can lurn from that .....

Because they're not yet sure if they'll do a boxed version. It's only tentative at this point.
Ah. Have you heard anything about a collectors edition of the game? Also, do you mean the box version is tentative or the entire game is?
Oh and if I do preorder now, do you know if they will be able to switch it to a box version later?
The box version. The game is happening no matter what.
You'll have to get an answer from a Stardock employee about the collector's edition/pre-order transfer, but I would guess the answer is they are not sure yet as they've yet to decide whether its worth it to do a box version or not. I assume the same logic would hold for collectors.
I wonder if they will get around to answering this thread, or will I have to talk to them directly?
There isn't an answer from the devs yet. Because they don't know.
