Global position of a planet from planetary screen

Does anyone know how can I see the global location of the planet from inside planetary screen? I mean, when I enter a planetary screen (from the list of planets, for example), I have no idea where the planet is located (is it close to my homeworld, or to the enemy territory, etc.). If I could see the minimap at the same time I look at the planetary screen it would make the decision regarding what ship to build much easier.

  There is an option which makes the screen centre onto the planet selected in the planet list after you close the planet list screen.  (Maybe it works without this option if you click "Find" afterwards.)  You have to click on the planet name in the list so that it is selected.
