Problems with the amd and think green taskbar

the amd one, every open window seems to be highlighted or somesuch, it did not use to be this way, I reinstalled the program and it still as such, it is not the dark maroon that it was before. I tried the Think Green one, well it is not green, there is a thin green line running through it, sounds like a good film or book title, but anyways, it ssems like the window name boxes in the task bar might be highlighted similarly too.

this is really weird, I have been having this problem for two weeks, I write this topic then go down to my task bar and as the arrow went over them they became unhighlighted, and they are now back to normal. This action did not provide such result before. I find this rather peculiar. Can anyone offer up an explanation? They seem normal, problems like this do not just fix themselves after typing a post like this, something else is up. Can someone be fooling around with my pc, playing games with me right now and "fixed " the problem? so I may not be a ware of their meddling. Sounds crazy, now I feel paranoid, is it a ghost, is there a ghost in my machine?

Maybe the OS is doing it. There is supposed to be an onboard repair thingy. Maybe it woke up and decided to do its job. In truth ... i have no clue.

it started up again but when I came back to this website, it seems to fix itself but not long after I am away from this site it goes on again. This is weird and I have no logical explanation for this behavior.

well, I knew I had to install some update or somesuch for xp and I had been putting it off so I just installed it and now stardock does not change the taskbar at all, I can no longer do back to my restore points, my mouse driver and video drivers had to be reinstalled. Something went screwy, so another problem. As did firefox and I know Chrome is not working, so whatever, it seems Windows just did me something or something else is up. Argh, why does it have to be so complicated, it was a service pac 3 or somesuch, I put in, also .net 4 came in as well.
