how to reset stats?

How can you reset your stats? In another post it said transfering the game to a new account would do this. But i dont find any options anywhere to transfer the game. Where and how can i do it?

You can't.  What you can do is create a new account, but your stats on the character you want reset will stay there.  You can however namechange that character to something (say aaabbiccedl) and then create the new character name with the old name you wanted.  That would basically serve the purpose.  Realize however that on your new account you won't have any favor points at the beginning.

 

To do this, you need to create a new Impulse account with a new email.  On this account / different email use the same serial code from the box.  If you digitally downloaded, I'm not aware of how to make it work out for you but it might still be possible.  Also, there might be something I'm forgetting.. haven't done it in over a year so.. meh.

i dont mind about the favor points, but is the new account absolutely necessary? the rename trick wont work with the old account?

 

i also wouldnt mind using a new named character either if thats possible. I just dont play very much and dont feel like wasting my time making sure its not same as always, experienced players grouping on one side farming for stats. i just want a quick match for entertainment now and then, so i want the stats wiped when they start looking too bad.
