Game building maker question

Hello... I was wondering... how does one change perspective in the building editor/maker I've been scratching my head on this for a while. I can't change the view from TOP which is looking directly down at the plot. What button combination am I missing lol

Any help would be VERY appreciated xD

On my mouse it's the scroll wheel button.

Umm... yeah... all that does for me is zoom in it doesn't change perspective so I can look at the thing from the side instead of the top view

Twist the mouse around while holding the scroll wheel down, that should work.

Nope... mouse wheel only zooms in doesn't rotate the scene at all. I would think pressing ctrl + a directional button (up, down, left and right keys) world work like it does in game but it doesn't at all. :(

hold the third mouse button down(often the mouse wheel) and move the mouse forward and back and to the sides until you get the view you want

this might not work on all mice, but it does with microsoft, logitech  and other mice with 3 or more buttons

Thanks...

See the issue is... it's my mouse... it's a logitech mouse... for some odd reason it doesn't allow me to rotate using the third mouse button. I have this issue when using the 3d modeling programs anyways and am forced to switch using to another mouse. >_<

if you set the logitech software to use the wheel click as the THIRD mouse button it will, and I am using logitech trackman wheel's on my computers
