A skin I've been working on quite a while now, the min\max\close buttons hopefully I will be able to do like the Shutdown button in this start menu Mockup. (took me a while to get that effect exactly how I wanted it) |-)

 

Anyway, I will post more progress soon, I'm finally back in the swing of things after a bit of downtime.

    I love the progress you are making on this windowblind. I love the wallpaper and the font too. Where did you find the font? You will always have a fan and a collector of your work here!!! Can't wait until it's released.

Hey John this is ridicoulous, I also have my hard drive partitioned very similarly, XP, W7 and then the rest, one of them also called ''Stuff'' , the moment I saw that I said : ''What the hell is this, these are my partitions'' :w00t:

Heh, btw I'm sure we don't keep the same type of stuff in our ''stuff'' partitions lmao, I keep some sort of .. heh .. ''stuff'' there :X

 

Oh yeah and uhm... GRRREEAT green color on the mouse over in taskbar, ohh boy!

Yeah, that start button is from vox,  x_x ... and they arent partitions, they are physical HD's but named similarily... my stuff consists of Music software, and samples,  PSDs,  old projects... and Jimmy Hoffa.. B)

I think she means the font you used for the Frontier in the lower right corner of the wallpaper.

mm.. just finishing up, XP Dark actually.. then XP light.. and onto Vista.. :)

     That was the font I was talking about. I really liked the font there. What font was used? Oh and John... you said the wallpaper was released. I looked for it on Maxstyles and also here and couldn't find it. Are you going to release it? It's a great wallpaper.

altho i completely understand your reluctance to create light subs for dark skins, john, it is difficult to use ms word and excel when the 'workspace' and text are both black. i guess it's okay, tho. it isn't difficult to change the window bg to white in sks.

 

btw, if the season ever begins, the colts will kick the jags' asses.

The issue isn't doing a light version as an extra choice to the dark for usability reasons.... The issue is choosing to do a true dark theme to begin with as a Light theme is a mandatory obligation (for some of us)

It will be a LONG time, if i ever do one again.

altho.....

The REAL issue, is not enough control over areas of the skin, and different apps.
