Any Diabetics out there.....

Hey guys! I recently got myself an Android phone and I love it!!  It has access to all kinds of apps, sorta like the iPhone. I like my Android better than I did my iPhone.

Anyway, I am also a diabetic, as those who know me know. I have found an app I like for keeping track of my glucose levels and my insulin use. It also tracks weight, blood pressue, exercise, etc.

It very customizable and I just thought you all might like to know about it!  Good health to you all!

Description

It isn't mentioned above, but it also let's you print out your stats for the Doc.

You can email it to yourself, then print, or, if you have a printing app, as do I, you can print directly from the phone.

I sent the link to a friend who is a diabetic.  For some reason though I think the meter for testing their blood sugar does this, could be wrong.

Some meters may, I don't think mine prints, or let's me track insulin dosages. At least, not with this much customization.

I just noticed, I may have made the first post to this category!!  Yay me!!   lol   B)

My friend is controlling their blood sugar with diet.  The meter they have even allows them to connect to their computer and run software that creats the reports.  I have not idea what type of meter they use.  :S

Probably the new USB meter by Bayer. I have a cheap one given to me by my diabetic supplies provider.

It does have a USB cord that allows for input to the PC, but nothing but diabetic info. No weight, insulin dosage, etc.

I find this app for my phone better than my meter by a long shot. And I can use it anywhere, no need for a PC. It connects to my printer wirelessly, and probably would connect to my doctor's printer too.

Oh, did I mention it's free?

Try the 4th one down the list...the name slays me. Jim, don't know which might be better than another...you could always check the ratings (which might be skewed), or look at reviews?

Good luck, fella.
