wHY DO PEOPLE WHINE ABOUT A CHALLENGING GAME

DIDO

THE BIGGEST PROBLEM ABOUT DARK AVATAR IS IT WAS TOO EASY. THE AI CNA'T PLAY GOOD. EVAN ON CHALLENGING AI

THEY SCALED DOWN THE TORIANS TERRANS ARCEANS ICONIANS. AT LEAST THEY HAD THE JAGGED KNIFE.

IN TWILIGHT OF THE ARNOR THEY INCREASED THE TORIANS THALANS YOR TERRANS AND ICONIANS. THEY SCALED DOWN THE DRENGIN KRYNN KORATH THEY TOOK ESPIANAGE FROM THE ICONIANS AND THE KRYNN.

SO WHY DO PEOPLE COMPLAIN ABOUT A CHALLENGE. i DON'T LIKE GAMES i CAN BEAT. AND YOU ARE GETTING IN THE WAY OF CHALLENGING GAMES.

THE PROBLEM IS PEOPLE DON'T COMPLAIN WHEN THE GAME IS CHALLENGING. THE ONE'S WHO DON'T LIKE A CHALLENGE SEEM TO COMPLAIN AND RUIN THE GAME NOW IS THE TIME TO DEFEND CHALLENGING GAMES YOU KEEP PLAYING BECAUSE YOU CANT BEAT IT. IF YOU DON'T LIKE THE THALANS DON'T PUT THEM ON THE GAME INSTEAD OF RUINING IT FOR EVERYONE ELSE.

ON ANOTHER NOTE INSTEAD OF A CHEATING AI ON HARDER LEVELS LIKE ECONOMIC BONUSES HOW ABOUT HIGHER 4 CRITERIA INSTEAD

if you want a harder game in TA just create some custom ai races with the different AI behaviours seriously have a play around, also some of the AI behaviours do better under certain conditions ie the number of extreme planet or size of galaxy not all work well. anyway there are plenty of way to fight against the ai even with its economic bonuses.

I'm not quite talking about. that. I played dark avatar and dread lords. What happened is because someone complained about dreadlords being too hard they made dark avatar which is a good game except because of the ai it was crap. so they fixed it with twilight of the arnor. but i've been reading about the thalans and jagged knife on the foroms I'm afraid in firaxes attempt to fix the problem they are going to do to galactic civilization 3 what they did to dark avatar.

so to remedy the situation I'm defending the guy who likes a challenging game.

on the other thing instead of having harder and easier levels cheat wouldn't a harder ai better
