[Gameplay] Hotseat option

Please add a hotseat option for multi-player. I love playing elemental, but I am not into online multiplayer. I have always enjoyed sitting in front of one computer with a few friends and playing our turns one at a time, sitting together and chatting as we played. Please bring back hotseat play. If not in this installment then in the next.

Please rethink making MP a cut-down version of SP.  At the very least, make a co-op mode with all SP functionality, and how about having battles involving more than two sides?  What about allies being able to join in battles with their team-mates?  It would be fantastic if you could balance well, having 2 players vs 2 players in the one battlefield, for example.  And this would fit a lot better with Elemental being a game that suits co-op MP much better than competitive. :)

I have not played the MP option as I do not like online play. But yeah the MP needs to be the same game as SP. I have been a long time fan of Turn Based Strategic Wargames ever since I first played Heroes of Might and Magic I. I really enjoy playing with friends more than I ever do the campaign or single player options. The game would make a really awsome MP Hotseat game, especialy with the troup customization otpions this game allows.

The game as it is now must be really boring in MP," click click click :end of turn, end of turn, end of turn" and nothing happense for hours.

Units should be much faster and maps sould be full of things to do instead than the same quasts over and over...

From my experience this kind of games play better by email (try PBEM in Age of Wonders Shadow Magic, as I mentioned a few times already this game wold be grat like that), I certainly would't have fun sitting in a room with a friend clicking end turn every ten seconds.

My friends and I loved AOW SM unfortunatly we can't find any good Large or Extra large Maps anymore so we stopped playing it.

You should make them! If you are lazy or don't have time, make them with the random map generator.

yeah, hot-seat would be a cool option for MP (im not too keen on online-play when it comes to turn-based games). and battles with allies moving in or an army consisting of several kingdoms is definately worth a thought (ive played AOW II SM, too, and i loved to take down a well defended city with several allied armies).
