Auto Save interval

Changing autosave time

Hello chaps,

 

Wondering if anybody can tell me how to change the autosave interval? Its currently 15 Minutes

 

I have done a search and changed the setting AutoSaveTickFrequency from below file to 600 (10 mins):

users\AppData\Local\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\Setting\user.setting

 

Restarted both the game & PC but no change has occured ingame.

What version of Sins are you using? Diplomacy added its own set of options so that you could customize your game seperately for it, so if you are using that expansions you needed to edit the diplomacy.user.setting file.

Sorry to commit necromancy here but thanks for this thread.  It works in Rebellion Beta (Which for me has a rare but debilitating crash when I go to the save screen).  I set it at 300 ticks, so I get an auto-save every five minutes.
