Desktop X ruined my entire start menu bar thing!

I wanted to try out DesktopX as it got good reviews from a friend at school.

I used it with a widget, it was lame so i unpacked it and went on audiotool.com

Expanded the window...AND IT COVERED THE START MENU BAR!

I checked if the process was still running and it was not...

Same with services...No DesktopX service.

If you haven't done so already then please email [email protected] and start a trouble ticket.  Stardock is closed for the weekend and will get back to you as soon as they can.

Do not re-submit until you are contacted by a support person.

Well, it sounds as though it was running and the checkbox to hide windows taskbar (start menubar) was checked. Load DesktopX, open the configuration window, go to the desktop tab, and uncheck hide windows taskbar.

Before you give up on DesktopX, visit the galleries (links below), and check out all the different tools available. Most people use the weather widgets, but there are clocks, calendars, media players, RSS readers and a whole lot of other things, as well as "themes", which combine these into one uniformly skinned package. It's an amazing program.
