A Tribute to Pinchecl

......and, a friend.

For a man of his accomplishments, he must be the least known (and quietest) major skinner here on WinCustomize. He was the first artist that I was interested enough in to track down, and the first skinning website that I joined, more than three years ago. I'm still a (very active) member on Skinnalicious.net, his home site.
Why pick now to offer a tribute to him? It's because he has moved into sixth place in the all-time IconPackager category. That isn't all; he's far and away the leader in Sysmetrix, in the top twenty in the overall skinning category, and number 26 in WindowBlinds, having made something over fifty of them. Also, he has made a large number of Rainlendars and wallpapers, and has few docks to his credit.
As well as all this, he has set up and maintained personal websites for his staff members at Skinnalicious, one of them being The Skinning Suite, which a few members here will remember well, and shared his graphics.
To top it off, he has exhibited a great deal of patience, tolerance and assistance to a number of people (including me).
So, please join me in congratulating Pinchecl on achieving his latest milestone.

A well deserved Tribute... One of the Old School who stuck to it and did so with great modesty. k6

Very well deserved!  And am I mistaken, or isn't he a fairly good musician to boot?

Cliff's always been one of the best in my book and is definitely one of a few old school skinners who made skinning a recognized art form. He stays fairly low key but keeps on producing some of the best work out there still. (for at least ten years now) I'm proud to call Cliff my friend and thank you willistuder for the much deserved tribute to him...

I read some of the stories at Skinnalicious. Lantec's, Pinchecle's, Beebop's and Bilbo's. Very interesting and I saw a lot of the reasons I got into skinning. These guys are here from day one and me ... hehe ... I can claim, I think, to be the only one who got addicted twice. To my knowledge anyway. Kudos and a hearty thank you to all the Masters out there.

I couldn't say for sure, but I know he plays piano and guitar, and played bass in his early days.

Mr. Brooklyn Uvah is referring to "Skinning Stories". It's something I started up at Skinnalicious because I was curious about how people discovered skinning. There's some autobiographies by people like the number one skinner of all time, adni18, messiah1, and others, biographies, and stories, like "The Plastic Fantastic Conspiracy". This is where it starts:

Wow, you all make me blush. But let's not forget, I am just one of those many, and what's more, I would be nothing without guys(and girls) like you, appreciating the works people like me publish. Comments, critics and appreciating made me go on. Unfortunately my time is short and thus my "production" low. But I stil do like to spend some of my time to contribute to the skins libraries. Again, a big thank you to all of you.

And to answer the question about music. I do not consider me a "fairly good" musician. But I indeed do/did play several instruments and did enjoy it as well perfom on stages.

I do thank John for this surprising initiative!

Well, I wish I had a fraction of your talent. The music I have heard by you is awesome. I like the bluesy stuff! Xiandi is a big fan too, I believe.
