Elemental offical add-on

To Brad...and his famous dev. tem

where is add-on for Elemental...one that we were promised 3 months ago.

Obviously you can not keep  promise...elemental is big failure in every way.

Try something else...but dont make games anymore...no point in that.

In another, normal company, would get fired long ago...for the damage done to the company.

Enjoy while you can.

What's an add-on?  Is that an expansion?  Don't worry... expansion is on the way.  Coming out in June 2011.

Hey Brad, fire yourself from your own company!

In other news, I'm physically incapable of not feeding the trolls. :(

No, no add-on/expansion. No need to come back. Ever. Seriously. Nothing to see here. Move along. Good speed.XD

There has been a lot of information about the stand alone game coming out.  It is called Fallen Enchantress.

He tried to be constructive his first time.

But if he's using the phrase add-on I wonder if he's talking about the Wal Mart/Best Buy add ons that were going to be released after 90 days? Brad's already addressed those issues and with 1.2/Fallen Enchantress in the works I figure they're waiting till the game mechanics are finalized and they can repair the campaign and redo the addon releases.

The statement about promises and telling Brad to stop making games is just utter crap and troll spew. We've had plenty of posts on this forum stating what's wrong with the game and such, and they can actually be constructive about it. He wasn't calling Elemental a failure when he first posted.

It's people like this that keep people like Brad from frequenting the forums more often.

Speaking of which, anyone here fans of Spiderweb Software?

That's the owner/developer's take on game forums. It may give insight to Brad's perspective.

Stardock released the details of the next chapter in its Elemental fantasy strategy game world.  Elemental: Fallen Enchantress includes an all-new battle system, more sophisticated spell casting, an updated economic system, new game mechanics, more creatures, quests and much more.

Elemental: Fallen Enchantress will be released as a stand-alone game but will be free to all players who purchased Elemental: War of Magic in 2010 and will be heavily discounted for anyone who purchases Elemental: War of Magic prior to Fallen Enchantress’s anticipated Summer 2011 release.

Elemental is a strategy game in which players build a kingdom from the ground up in a shattered fantasy world. Players build cities, raise armies, research technologies, learn magical spells, go on quests, recruit heroes, negotiate treaties, learn spells, build a family dynasty and more.

Wow, nailed the aftermath of the post Elemental release perfectly.  Not to say I think Brad should or shouldn't engage the forum as much as he does, but yeah, very interesting perspective indeed.

I think BECAUSE elemental was such a failure, the expansion has been delayed. They chose to do much-needed polish on the core game first, a decision I personally am grateful for.

Bottom line, Brad LIKES games.  Gaming gives him a hopping good time.   Sure EWOM isn't where most of us wish it was, right now.  But this game isn't just "a job.'  Its his passion.  And I continue to be patient while EWOM is fixed.  I'm hopping it will be soon. (smile).

worst game ever for sure!

Oh come on, E.T. for Atari back in the day caused the whole industry to collapse.  Even if you think this is a terrible game, it can't really compare to that.

I'm just coming back to the forums after a few months and this is the first I've heard of this enchantress thing. Are we all going to just throw out EWOM when it comes out? Is FE going to be EWOM 2.0 or something? It sounds like they're just scrapping EWOM... I'm glad to hear we're getting FE free though, that would be seriously uncool to charge for it.

They are going to continue to work on WoM after FE comes out. They might develop along differentlines, so one might offer something the other doesn't and will play differently.  I think they are going to offer , at least slightly, different play styles and be different.  Brad said they weren't going to give up or stop working on WoM, and no matter what you think of him or Stardock, they haven't bullshitted about that.
