Caught the no text bug. Tried the deleting games. prefs but didnt work ,

any ideas anyone ? Can not even play single player. Do I need to do a reinstall

hmm... that's quite strange. I've never heard of this issue not being resolved by deleting game.prefs... ever.

Maybe a re-install is needed. Very strange though.
