What about those Wal-Mart and Best Buy extras?

Yeah, same with those of us who don't have the destiny's ember content.

The Titan's Workshop (the Best Buy content) is pretty boring - just another midnight stones quest with a weapon at the end that hasn't been rebalanced since all the stats were changed (and is therefore useless).  Not sure about the Walmart content - probably gives you a discount merchant that drives all the other shops out of business.  Ha ha.

Brad has said that the Destiny's Ember content will NOT be released to the rest of us as it is "owned" by Random House, not Stardock.  At least I think that was how he put it.

 You only get Destinys Embers content if you buy the book.

With all the modding tools, I am sure people could just make the content. No?

Come on Toby, my buddy, my pal, look into this for me.  It's been longer than 90 days, I checked.  I want my content, even if it's outdated and unbalanced!

I asked about something similar a while back; an art package for modders that would be released 60 days after the game was released. Ofcourse after the initial release, and the following shitstorm, priorities changed. But still it would be nice to something about this...

its been looked into  I cant really talk too much about it but I can tell you it hasn't been forgotten about, just other things had come up that were deemed higher priority.  Still coming though, just will need a bit more patience.

To clarify, there is already Best Buy, Walmart and Destinies Embers content available but more is being worked on for the book still.

Well, if it's like the Ember's stuff, you can go in and modify the items yourself.  I improves the starting items that Nym and Ambrose starts with, I just need to find a way to enable him to wear human armor...
