Does anyone know how allowing a weapon bank to target more than one object affects damage?

Multiplication, banks hit for full damage.

So each target takes full damage?

Correct.

Think of it like this. The info card shows the damage for one bank of weapons. So each bank of weapons you add to the ship is equal to that damage.

Ok. To bad you can't modify the number of targets each weapon type can target.

But you can change how many targets a single bank can fire on.

Since there aren't too many ships with multiple weapons per bank, the desired effect is still achieved.

That's what I've been doing to Capitol ships.

Now for another question: What does the Weapon Index for Range specify? Is it the ship's general attack range?

My understanding is it determines how close a ship will travel towards it's target before it stops. If you want the ship to engage fully setting the weapon with the shortest range would work. The opposite would work too having a long range primary attack with shorter range secondary attacks.

Ok. That's what I thought. Had to make sure though. No point in having LRM frigate engaging in point-blank battles.
