Could we please get back the TURN option instead of Date/season?

I enjoyed the game more with TURN numbers rather than the Date/Season numbering. Was great reading "I played a 456 turn game" in the forums etc, but now it's just a mess and we can't relate with dates. At least in my opinion.

It would be great to have the OPTION to choose what type of turn system to be used.

 

It's great with all these changes, but I don't like it when we are not given a choice. Look at GalCiv II, you guys gave us a rich options so we could customize the game to our liking. I really miss that.

Just hover the mouse over the season and it will tell you what "turn" you're on.

What I am saying I want to be able to CHOOSE how I want it displayed. I prefer the Turn Number display.

GalCiv2 eventually included this as a toggle in Options. Hopefully, Elemental will do the same, only sooner.
