What to purchase?

Last night I remembered that I had a 20% off code for Impulse that is only good until 1/1/11.
I've got GalCivII, Sins, Demigod, Elemental...

I like a good strategy game..  or an RPG...
I was also thinking Sims3 for the kids.  My daughter loves those types of games - I just never thought about Sims before.

Wish the new tower defense game was out..  what was the name of that again?  Dungeon Defenders or something?  The TD/RPG hybrid.

I'll check out some DA and Fallout prices...

You could take a look at AI fleet command, and I think there is a demo available. I found it pretty interesting.

Well, as far as games go, I have no idea what to recommend.  But if you don't already have it, I would suggest a Stardock product for Windows... Object Desktop.

I was in the same boat as you..well, sort of (minus the coupon).  I want to give Stardock my money but I think I'm all 'gamed-out' for the moment, with the exception of GalCivII, which I still do want/need and need it badly.

But one day I searched their software catalog and this particular product stood out for me.   :erk:   It seems quite nice, to be honest.  If it doesn't go on sale before the 3rd of January (which marks the end of Impulse's holiday sale event), I will be sorely disappointed.

I've looked at OD before.  I may pick it up at some point.
I'll wait until after I build my new system and add 7 to it though.

I think I am going to grab SotS though.  I'd forgotten about that game and I think it looks pretty sweet.
